Organized in collaboration between The POD and OpenHub, this event is dedicated to companies that wish to collaborate with high-level students on concrete innovation projects as part of the upcoming edition of the Student Labs program.

The project “Virtual Reality for a Renewed and Ecological City,” supported by the Interreg France–Wallonie–Vlaanderen programme, is led by the Media Innovation and Intelligibility Lab (MiiL) of UCLouvain, the project’s lead partner, and explores the potential of immersive technologies as tools for decision-making support and dialogue around urban transformations related to climate, environmental, and societal challenges.

Musée L, UCLouvain's university museum, is pleased to announce the opening of the call for contributions for the inaugural issue of its new scientific journal, UniMusea – Research and Practices on University Collections, devoted to the study, interpretation and critical analysis of university collections. This first issue will address the theme “Decolonising university collections? Challenges, issues and perspectives.”

It is an infrastructure designed for large-scale data storage, high-performance computing (HPC), and virtualization, dedicated to the research groups and technology platforms of UCLouvain’s Health Sciences Sector.

An international team of physicists involving the University of Amsterdam, the University of Toruń (Poland) and UCLouvain has succeeded in confining hydrogen molecules within a laser beam. This experimental feat, which confirms a theoretical prediction that is 50 years old, has just been published in the journal Physical Review Letters.
