The ICTEAM Thesis Award 2025 goes to Florian Quatresooz

The ICTEAM Best Thesis Award 2025 was granted to Florian Quatresooz for his thesis entitled "Atmospheric turbulence modelling and monitoring for satellite-to-ground optical communications" (supervisor: Claude Oestges).
The selection jury in 2025 was chaired by François-Xavier Standaert. The other members were Martin Andraud, Jean-Charles Delvenne, Christophe De Vleeschouwer, Benoît Hackens and Estelle Massart.
The ICTEAM Thesis Award, which consists of an amount of 2000 €, is granted yearly to the best doctoral thesis that was publicly defended in the course of the previous civil year and for which at least one of the co-directors is officially a member of ICTEAM.
The award was granted during the ICTEAM Day on May 22, 2025.
