Applied Exact Sciences Prize goes to François-Xavier Standaert

François-Xavier Standaert was awarded the Applied Exact Sciences Prize (Dr. A. De Leeuw-Damry-Bourlart Prize), which is one of the 6 FNRS Quinquennal Prizes that reward scientific excellence in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

According to the jury, "François-Xavier Standaert is one of the world's leading researchers in the field of cryptographic hardware and embedded systems. He is responsible for developing fundamental principles that enable the construction of leak-resistant computer hardware and the implementation of cryptographic protocols and algorithms in software."

The award ceremony will take place on 24 November 2025 at Bozar.
