Topics

The Journal of Demographic Economics is having an open call for papers for a special issue that will address economic questions related to immigration in OECD countries. Submitted papers are expected to make a significant contribution to our understanding of the determinants and consequences of immigration in receiving countries and globally. This call follows up on the 15th annual OECD-CEPII-LISER-PSE Conference on “Immigration in OECD Countries” that took place at the OECD headquarters in Paris on 11-12 December 2025. External submissions of non-conference papers are welcome and will be given equal consideration.

Submission Guidelines

To submit your paper, go to the Journal of Demographic Economics website and click on the “submit your article” button. In the first step of the submission process, select "Immigration in OECD Countries" from the dropdown menu in the Special Issue section. Additionally, please indicate in your cover letter that your submission is for the special issue.
