Will we still need fuels in a sustainable society? If so, for what applications, what kind of fuels and how can we produce them sustainably? Will it be hydrogen? What is the actual environmental impact of biofuels, and what about those ‘e-fuels’? Or will everything eventually become electric anyway?

Prof. Verhelst’s talk will be preceded by a short introduction of the research project of 5-6 young researchers from our institute, whose names will be communicated later.
