The IoNS has the pleasure of inviting you to two statistics courses given by Professor John Woodard (Wayne State University).
Statistics course #1
Content:
In the first class, Professor John Woodard will cover non-parametric statistics, which are very often preferable to their parametric counterparts. Professor Woodard will address the many advantages of non-parametric statistics and will provide a rationale for their regular use. He will review one-sample, matched pairs, and two independent groups non-parametric statistical tests, in addition to the sign test and binomial theorem, Kruskal-Wallis and Friedman tests, randomization and permutation tests, and ordinal correlation and regression approaches.

Content:
In the second class, Professor John Woodard will review concepts behind mediation and moderation using regression techniques. Examples will be provided in R and using the PROCESS macro, available in the free statistical software, JASP. In addition, more examples using the free structural equation modeling software, Onyx, will also be provided.
