The Computing Science department (INGI) gathers about 75 people and is part of the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, Electronics and Applied Mathematics (ICTEAM).

This department is dedicated to promoting research in the field of computing science engineering and namely Algorithms and Optimization,  Computer Systems and Networks, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Software Enginnering and Programming Systems.

Most of its members are involved in bachelor of Computer Sciences, master of Data Science Engineering, master of Computer Science and Engineering, Cybersecurity Certificate, organized by the Louvain School of Engineering (Ecole Polytechnique de Louvain).
