Getting to Mons

The Mons campus is located two kilometres from Mons city centre and can be reached by:

Bicycle

Showers for cyclists are available on the ground floors of Building A and Building L.

Parking 

  A secure bicycle shelter (badge access) is available in Building K.

  A covered bicycle shelter is also available in Building K.

  Bicycle racks and "bicycle boxes" are also available across the campus and at the Ateliers de l'UCLouvain en Hainaut.

Bicycle loan

UCLouvain makes standard and electric bicycles available to its community members on the FUCaM Mons campus:

  •   €50 deposit per year;
  •   Insurance at your own expense;
  •   Signed agreement required.

Routes

Several routes to campus are available from key surrounding towns and villages. These routes can be accessed via Komoot, a primarily free platform. Once you have created an account, you can download the routes as GPX files (for use with GPS devices) or save them directly to your Komoot account.

On the road, look out for yourself and other road users.

Public transport

Train

For train schedules, go to belgiantrain.be

TEC buses operate between the train station and the campus (see below).

Bus

Additional direct TEC shuttle services (line 22) operate between the train station and the Bascule stop in the morning (between 7.55am and 8.30am) and in the afternoon (between 4pm and 6.45pm).

Getting to Mons by bus

The MONS Bascule stops on chaussée de Binche are served by the following bus lines:

The MONS Bascule (FUCaM) stops on chaussée de Beaumont are served by the following bus lines:

Lines 34 and 134 take you directly to Mons train station.

The HELHa campus is served by Line 22 at certain times of day.

Getting to UCLouvain FUCaM Mons campus by bus

The MONS Chemin d’Obourg stops on Chaussée du Roeulx are served by the following bus lines:

Buses leaving campus stop at the Bascule stop on request, simply signal to the driver.

Car

All vehicles using the car parks must display a valid UCLouvain parking permit (except during information events such as Open Days and Master’s Evenings).
