Master theses at EPL

epl | Louvain-la-Neuve, Charleroi

The master thesis work – TFE (Travail de Fin d’Etudes in French) - aims at solving a complex problem arising from the engineering profession. Master theses range from technological and industrial projects (designed to introduce students to the engineering profession in industry) to applied or fundamental research projects (designed to introduce students to the engineering profession in research). Many dissertations combine these aims to varying degrees. The cross-disciplinary skills integrated into the dissertation are in line with the targeted learning outcomes: writing, communication, planning and argumentation, accounting for ethical, economic and societal aspects

The key steps toward the master thesis consist in the selection of topic, the realization of the research work and the defense. These steps are summarized in the timeline (see bottom of page).
