Another successful Croix du Sud barbecue!

Last Wednesday was barbecue time at the Place Croix du Sud!

Several hundred members of staff from the Agro faculty, the Earth and Life Institute, the Louvain Institute of Biomolecular Science and Technology, and the CORDER association got together to enjoy a convivial meal.

The idea was as much to celebrate the end of the second semester of the academic year as to enjoy the first rays of summer sunshine.

Many people brought a small home-cooked salad for the meal, or a delicious cake for the dessert. 

The barbecue team was also on hand from the morning to prepare sausages and veg halloumi cooked to perfection. 

Last but not least, the many volunteers who helped with the logistics enabled the Place Croix du Sud to be transformed for an afternoon to welcome everyone and their food.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it a real success. And a special thanks to Jasmine De Wulf, who has put her heart and soul into this Croix du Sud barbecue.
