Housing requests can only be submitted online.
To obtain housing at UCLouvain, students must submit a request through the online form available on our website.  
If no registration link is displayed on the site to submit a housing request, it means that, depending on the time of year: 

-    • Either the requests for the current academic year have been closed. In this case, you can contact the Infor-logement service by email: inforlogementlln@uclouvain.be

 
-    • Or requests for the new academic year are not yet available.

The date when housing requests for the new academic year will open is announced on our website starting in February.
For short-term housing requests (less than 3 months), you can contact us directly by email at: inforlogementlln@uclouvain.be

For an individual bedroom in shared student housing :
Yourroom is fully furnished and typically includes :

• A single bed frame with a mattress (no sheets or bedding) (90x200)
• A nightstand.
• A wardrobe.
• A desk and a chair.
• A shelf.
• A sink in most cases, a mirror, and a towel rack. 
   

The common areas, shared with other residents, include : 

• Kitchen : Equipped with an oven, hood, and fridge/freezer. No utensils or dishes are provided.
• Living/dining room : Sofas, coffee table, chairs, tables, etc
• Sanitary facilities : Basic installations (toilets, showers, sinks), but no towels, bath mats, or hygiene products (soap, shampoo) are included.

Internet connection : Residents must arrange for a subscription with a private provider.

For individual, couple and family accommodations:

These are also fully furnished and include :

• One or more single or double beds (no sheets or bedding), depending on the type of accommodation. (90x200) or (140x200).
• One or more nightstands. 
• A wardrobe.
• A desk and a chair.
• A shelf.

Unlike shared rooms, kitchens and sanitary facilities are private, except in flat rooms where toilets are shared.

• Kitchen: Equipped with an oven, hood, and fridge/freezer, but no utensils or dishes.
• Sanitary facilities: Basic installations (toilets, showers, sinks), but no towels, bath mats, or hygiene products (soap, shampoo) are included.

Internet connection : Residents must arrange for a subscription with a private provider.

UCLouvain is committed to providing all students with the best possible conditions to pursue their studies, in full confidentiality, across its various campuses. To support this, the university offers a range of financial and material aids for students facing financial difficulties.

Among the various aids available, students from modest backgrounds can benefit from a rent reduction of €90 per month for their UCLouvain accommodation.

The landlord (UCLouvain) has taken out a comprehensive fire insurance policy covering the building occupied by the tenant.

As a student tenant, the tenant benefits, within the limits of the contract, from a waiver of recourse from the insurer regarding their own rental liability.

However, the tenant must ensure they have general liability insurance for third-party claims, especially for risks not covered by the comprehensive fire insurance or exclusions in the contracts.

Insure your belongings if necessary, especially in the event of theft, for example.

Safety rules : 

To ensure the safety of everyone, students are urged to strictly adhere to the guidelines outlined in the internal regulations (ROI). These include, among other things, the main safety measures and rules of use. We also ask that the doors of buildings, rooms, and communal areas be kept locked at all times.
