The bioscience engineering study programme consists of 5 years of study (300 credits):

  • The Bachelor's degree in Bioscience Engineering (3 academic years of 60 credits each = 180 credits in total)

  • The Master's degree in Bioscience Engineering (2 academic years of 60 credits each = 120 credits in total)

Bachelor’s Degree in Bioscience Engineering (180 credits)

The Bachelor's programme in Bioscience Engineering offers:

  • A broad core curriculum aimed at building strong scientific foundations — in chemistry, physics, and biology — as well as quantitative skills in mathematics, statistics, and coding

  • Numerous hands-on laboratory sessions

  • The opportunity to choose a professional immersion internship in Belgium or abroad

  • A specialisation track in the third year: Chemistry, Agronomy, or Environment

  • A gradual introduction to English throughout the programme
