Students at the Faculty of Bioengineering benefit from state-of-the-art and conveniently located facilities to explore, discover, and apply their theoretical knowledge:

  • New specialized laboratories, modern teaching rooms, and discipline-specific libraries.

  • New computer rooms equipped with all the software necessary to complete the coursework throughout the programme.

  • University farms:

    • The Lauzelle farm in Louvain-la-Neuve, specialized in vegetable crop studies.

    • The Alphonse de Marbaix farm in Corroy-le-Grand, with over 100 hectares dedicated to large-scale crops and livestock farming.

  • Greenhouses covering 2,000 m², among the largest and most technologically advanced research greenhouses in Europe.

  • A nearly 200-hectare forest: the Lauzelle forest in Louvain-la-Neuve.

  • Additional facilities such as the Michamps Centre in Bastogne, the Louvain-la-Neuve lake, and the Chimay forest area.
