Incoming mobility: coming to UCLouvain to conduct research
Several programmes funded by Belgian, foreign and supranational public authorities enable UCLouvain to host highly qualified foreign researchers and support high-quality scientific collaborations with renowned institutions.
UCLouvain is fulfilling its international ambitions, as demonstrated by the MOVE-IN Louvain and FSR postdoc programmes.
The Welcome Desk can answer any questions international researchers may have about their stay in Belgium.

Outgoing mobility: gaining experience abroad
The Forum des financements internationaux (FFI, International Funding Forum) is made up of some 15 organisations that finance and organise research residencies abroad. The FFI also organises information sessions, all of which can be viewed via Replay. Outgoing mobility can take a variety of forms: further study, work placement, PhD, research residency, work, volunteering, language immersion, etc.
Outgoing mobility funding options beyond those listed on the FFI pages are available.
