What to do in case of fire?
Fire detected:
- Activate the alarm using the push button.
- Call the Saint-Louis Brussels campus emergency number.
- If you are trained, use a fire extinguisher.
- Evacuate immediately via the emergency exits.
Fire alarm activated:
- Close the door to your room.
- Call +32 499 670 455, or 112 if necessary.
- Never open a hot door or use a lift.
- Evacuate quickly, without panicking.
- Help those around you as best you can.
- Go to the assembly points.
- Do not block access for emergency services.
- If you are trapped, signal for help with a piece of cloth at the window, close doors and windows, and wait for help.
What to do in the event of an armed intrusion?
Although unlikely, the Saint-Louis Brussels campus prefers to be prepared.
Procedure recommended by the Belgian police: Run. Hide. Fight
- Run: flee if possible.
- Hide: hide if you cannot flee.
- Fight: as a last resort, defend yourself.
What to do in the event of theft or assault?
- Call +32 499 670 455 or 112 depending on the severity.
- File a complaint with the police.
