A Strong Connection to Cutting-Edge Research
agro | Louvain-la-Neuve

The Faculty of Bioscience Engineering at UCLouvain carries out three core missions: education, research, and service to society. To fulfill these, more than 400 staff members are actively involved in the Faculty’s daily work.
Research is carried out both in fundamental disciplines and through practical applications, in collaboration with three leading institutes:
Earth and Life Institute (ELI): Focused on understanding Earth and life systems and designing sustainable solutions to major societal challenges.
Louvain Institute of Biomolecular Science and Technology (LIBST): Dedicated to solving life’s molecular mysteries across organisms by advancing knowledge at the molecular and cellular levels.
Institute of Condensed Matter and Nanosciences (IMCN): Specializing in the synthesis, modeling, and application of molecules and solid-state materials, from the nanoscale to complex biomaterials.
