UCLouvain is committed to sustainable mobility
A key area for the energy transition, mobility accounts for 55% of the university's total CO2 emissions. That percentage includes commutes between home and work/study locations for the university community, business travel, European and international exchanges, and on-campus mobility.
Today, UCLouvain aims to increase the use of sustainable modes of transport in order to reduce the share of car travel among students and staff by 15% to 20% by 2030. For students and staff, each trip can become an opportunity to unwind, engage in physical activity, explore new routes, or even save money.
