Would you like to have a student room on or near the Saint-Louis Brussels campus? It's possible.

What accommodation for whom? At what price? How long is the lease? When and how to apply? Project grants? Housing subsidies?

The Saint-Louis Brussels campus offers accommodation in the Ommegang Residence, just a stone's throw from the auditoriums.

You can only apply for accommodation by filling in a form. Fill it in as soon as possible. The housing Office will then contact you.

The Residence is located in one of the buildings on the Saint-Louis Brussels campus, rue de l'Ommegang 2 - 1000 Brussels.

 

It has three floors. Each floor has around fifty furnished flats, communal kitchens and shared sainitary facilities. It also has a common room, a terrace, a laundry room, a bicycle room and a concierge service.

 

The residence (mixed and university) is managed in partnership with Xior Student Housing.

 

Our four types of accommodation:

  • the standard room, furnished with a washbasin area
  • the standard+ room, furnished with a washbasin area
  • the premium room, furnished with a private bathroom facilities
  • the studio, furnished with a kitchenette and a private bathroom facilities

 

Prices

 

The nearby train stations are Bruxelles-Nord, Bruxelles-Central and Bruxelles-Congrès. The campus is also accessible by metro, tram and bus, as it is ideally located between the Rogier and Botanique stops.
 

Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You should therefore complete the application form as soon as it opens in March and wait for news from the Housing Office.

 

Length of contract

12 months

 

Rent, charges and guarantee

The monthly rent varies from €575 to €831 depending on the surface area and equipment of the accommodation (private bathroom or not, private kitchenette or not).

 

Flat-rate charges, included in the rent, amount to 150 euros for energy, internet, cleaning of communal areas and caretaking.

 

The deposit is equivalent to one month's rent.

 

Payment is by standing order, every month.


 

Special arrangements for exchange students

 

Length of contract

The rental contract is for a period of 5 or 10 months.

First term
From 31 August 2026 at 10am to 22 January 2027 at 1pm (5 months)

Second four-month period
From 22 January 2027 at 4pm to 25 June 2027 at 4pm (5 months)

Full year 
From 31 August 2026 at 10am to 25 June 2027 at 4pm (10 months)

 

Rent, service charges, guarantee and payment

Full payment is by bank transfer, in one instalment for a four-month period (5 months) and in two instalments for the full year (10 months).

 

Housing assistance

 

The mykot.be platform centralises student accommodation offers in Brussels and facilitates meetings between students looking for a kot and landlords wishing to rent out their property.

 

Accommodation in student residences managed by private companies

 

There are several residences close to the campus. You need to book directly with the person in charge of these residences.

Are you a student? You can get a rent reduction, even for off-campus accommodation! 

 

For the year 2025-2026, this reduction amounts to: 

 

  • *235 euros/month if you receive a study grant from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation
     
  • *155 euros/months if you benefit from another reduction in tuition fees.

 

You can apply for assistance throughout the academic year.
