Welcoming the international students
In September (from 7 to 25 September 2026), a team of students from the CGEI and from the International Relation Office will be available all day (from 9 am to 5 pm) at the Louvain Welcome House (6, place de l'université).
International students will be guided through the initial steps and can also leave their luggage.
In Woluwe, a team from the CGEI will be available during the same period every Monday and Wednesday from 12 pm to 2 pm at the Town Hall, Promenade de l'Alma.
International Students' Day
Twice a year, UCLouvain organises a day dedicated to its new international students. Come and meet the different people and resource organisations ready to help you in your journey at UCLouvain, from administrative procedures (registration, blocked account) to student life (sports, student associations, campus tours).
The next International Students’ Day will take place on 11 September 2026 on the Louvain-la-Neuve campus.
Welcome party
In October and February, the CGEI organises a welcome party on the Louvain-la-Neuve and / or Woluwe campuses to bring the international students together around Belgian specialities in a cheerful atmosphere. For more information, please consult the CGEI website or Instagram.
