Welcoming the international students 

In September and January, a team of students from the CGEI is at your disposal to welcome and guide you upon your arrival at UCLouvain. This welcome is available on the Louvain-la-Neuve and Woluwe campuses.

 

International Students Day

Twice a year, UCLouvain organises a day dedicated to its new international students. Come and meet the different people and resource organisations ready to help you in your journey at UCLouvain, from administrative procedures (registration, blocked account) to student life (sports, student associations, campus tours). The next International Students Day will take place on 12th September 2025 on the Louvain-la-Neuve campuses.

Welcome party 

In October and February, the CGEI organises a welcome party on the Louvain-la-Neuve and / or Woluwe campuses to bring the international students together around Belgian specialities in a cheerful atmosphere. The next welcome party will take place on 9th October at 6.30 PM on the Louvain-la-Neuve campus (Ferme du Biéreau - Avenue du Jardin Botanique). Other activities

Each faculty organises information sessions in September and February, specially designed for international and/or exchange students. This is an opportunity to come and ask your various questions about courses, exams, class schedules, etc.
