New user?

UCLouvain users :

If you wish to use the platform's services and/or equipment, please:

1. send Caroline Bouzin :

• your research pole and the name of your PI ► to avoid billing errors
• the platform charter (downloadable here) read carefully, signed by you and co-signed by your promote
• your FGS number (cfr student card or UCLouvain member card) ► for access to 55+2
• your agreement (or not) to join the ‘IREChelpme’ e-mail distribution list ► a channel through which information about the platform is communicated.
   

2. request access to the booking site

• connect to https://app.uclouvain.be/PTech/login with your UCLouvain e-mail address (and select "login UCLouvain")
• select 2IP platform

• request for access (top right)

  Note: you will not receive any confirmation when your access will be granted
   

3. configure your access to the cluster/data storage SSS ("samba")

• ask your PI to add you as a member of his/her ‘isi-...’ group (isi-gaen-il, isi-chex,...). This will be necessary for the transfer of images on the cluster of data storage (no external hard drives are allowed on the platform computers).

• on your computer, map a network drive: \\sss-samba.icp.ucl.ac.be\[group]
