ScienceInfuse is a platform dedicated to promoting, disseminating and popularizing science and technology.

Its activities focus on three main priorities:

  • fostering scientific curiosity from an early age,

  • promoting science and technology among secondary-school students by connecting them with the university environment,

  • bringing university research to a wider audience by helping people grasp current scientific approaches, methods and issues more easily.

Scientific expertise

To achieve its goals, Scienceinfuse implements a coherent set of actions and services. The platform:

  • organizes scientific workshops, demonstrations and outreach activities, both on university campuses and in schools, enabling participants to directly engage with experimental methods and discover science firsthand;

  • involves researchers in science outreach by encouraging them to take part in educational activities, share their expertise and strengthen dialogue between research and society;

  • supports science communication and outreach through guidance, training and assistance in developing effective communication practices for non-specialist audiences;

  • designs, produces and distributes educational resources—such as experiment kits, teaching sheets and multimedia materials—intended for teachers and their classes;

  • coordinates major science outreach events, including the Printemps des Sciences, and contributes to regional and national initiatives in collaboration with interuniversity networks such as Sciences.be.

Services available to

  • to UCLouvain students and researchers

  • to schools (teachers and pupils) and to the general public
