About mobility at EPL

Welcome to the Louvain School of Engineering (EPL)!

At EPL, internationalisation is at the heart of our mission. From 2014 to 2024, the International Lhoist Berghmans Innovation Chair—the largest sponsorship in our history—helped drive this vision, building ambitious programmes that attracted top Belgian and international talents and prepared them for global industrial challenges.

Over the recent years, EPL has continuously increased its incoming international population, welcoming over 150 international students every year in the framework of exchange and joint degree programs, whilst simultaneously an increasing number of EPL students embarked on the same programs worldwide. 

Beside those mobility programs, over 300 international degree‑seeking students also join EPL every year at Bachelor, Master or PhD level, enriching our diverse academic community.

In addition to partnership agreements with about 100 universities worldwide, EPL also partnered with several international networks enabling cross-border cooperation and innovative forms of engagement, especially in Europe.

Lastly EPL participates in several international initiatives in the framework of our European university Alliance 

The quality of Ecole Polytechnique de Louvain 11 engineering master's programmes are acknowledged through a new accreditation of six years by the CTI, allowing them to display the EUR-ACE label for the same period.
