For incoming exchange students taking some Bachelor courses at EPL which are mostly taught in French, you are requested to have a mandatory minimum level of B2.
In order to demonstrate your French proficiency, you should send a certificate of your language skills with your exchange student application.
The certificate can be an official test (such as DELF- DALF) or a statement by a French language teacher. It can also be a statement by a professor at your home institution where he/she confirms that you can pursue studies in your subject area in French and that you have a B2 level.
You can access the full list of EPL Bachelor programmes. In each Bachelor programme, you can navigate through the different courses of this programme, and by choosing a specific course (e.g. LEPL1201) you will see specifications of the course, including the teaching language.
All EPL Master courses are offered in English. It is important to note that 95% of our Master programmes are organized by EPL, but a few courses in our Master programmes are taken from other UCLouvain faculties/schools, and may be taught in French (eg. architecture).
To attend such courses, international students are requested to have a mandatory minimum level of B2. (Cf. European Common Framework of Reference for Languages).
In order to demonstrate your English proficiency, you should send a certificate of your language skills with your exchange student application.
