EPL Excellence Summer Research Scholarships - MIT & Yale

EPL offers a limited number of Excellence Summer Research Scholarships in the frame of a partnership programme with leading institutions such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Yale University. These programmes are part of long-term strategic partnerships between EPL on one hand, MIT and Yale on the other hand. They are designed to offer students a unique opportunity to combine academic excellence with international research experience, either in the United States or at UCLouvain.

Within the frame of these partnership programmes, EPL offers scholarships to up to six EPL students for research internships of a minimum of 9 weeks, enabling them to carry out research at MIT or Yale.

These programmes are open to high-performing EPL Master’s students who wish to strengthen both their academic profile and their international experience. 

Scholarships benefits

Selected students receive an EPL Excellence Summer Research Scholarship covering:

• international travel (airfare) 
• most living expenses during the stay 

Selection criteria

Selection is highly competitive and based on:

• academic excellence 
• motivation and research interest 
• alignment between the student’s profile and the proposed research project 

This scholarship programme is organized in the framework of the Summer programmes with MIT and Yale.
