Choosing your course
uclouvain |
UCLouvain supports those who would like guidance in choosing their academic path, whether right after secondary school, for choosing a master’s course, or when returning to university after time away. The university offers a range of support services, opportunities to exchange information, and tools to help you make an informed choice and find the programme that suits you best.
Information sessions
Throughout the year, UCLouvain organises events to provide information about courses and career prospects, and to help attendees refine their study plans. These events also offer the opportunity to discover university life and the UCLouvain environment, and to talk to career advisers, lecturers and students to better plan for higher education.
Academic advisors
The academic advisers at the Course and Career Guidance Centre (CIO) support prospective bachelor’s and master’s students, as well as adults returning to study, helping them define an academic path aligned with their goals and career plans. They offer one-to-one appointments as well as group workshops tailored to different audiences.
In addition, each faculty has its own study advisors, who can provide more specific information about the programmes on offer.
Guidance resources
UCLouvain offers a range of online tools and print publications to help you explore its programmes and choose your path. Whether you are a secondary school student, a university student or an adult returning to study, these resources will help you identify your interests, discover what’s on offer and navigate the wide landscape of higher education.
