To be invited to the interview, applicants must:
1) Meet the access requirements for the LSM Master 120 in Business Engineering or the Master 120 in Management.
2) Pay the application fee, and respect the deadline.
3) Submit an online application fully and properly completed.
If you meet all these requirements, you will be invited by email to an interview at LSM, conducted via video conference, in front of representatives from the DD Partner University and LSM.
The pre-selection interview lasts approximately 20 minutes and is held in English (and in Dutch for the Dutch/English LSM/KU Leuven Double degree).
Please note that in case of non-respect, the applicant will not be invited to the interview nor be reimbursed for the application fee.
DD Criteria and Pre-selection Results
Three criteria will be taken into account during the selection :
1) Academic results of each university studies year;
2) The applicant's profile is based on motivation, professional experience, personal skills (initiative, leadership, entrepreneurship, team spirit, cultural openness, etc.), and a strong academic project for the chosen Double Degree;
3) Language skills: the English level required for the Double degree is equivalent to a C1 level. An English certificate is not required for the DD application. Please note that students with a non-Belgian degree will have to submit an English B2 certificate (IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 89) for the Master's application. For all DD applicants, the C1 level in English will be evaluated during the pre/selection interview.
In case your level of English is not good enough during the interview but your profile corresponds to the Double degree, the selection jury could decide to preselect you and ask for an official certificate (TOEFL, IETLS,...) to be handed in by July 1st, 2026.
The selection jury could preselect you under certain condition(s) such as proving you have improvement:
- In English in case of a level under the requirement. In this case, an English certificate must be submitted by July 1st, 2026.
- On academic results for a future exam session.
Within a week or two after the interview, candidates will be notified of the jury's decision.
