Double Degree Louvain School of Management - Vytautas Magnus University in a nutshell
Standard period of study: 4 Semesters (2 years), full-time.
Start: Fall semester (mid-September at LSM)
Language: Entirely in English
Degrees awarded: Double degree student who has completed the required credits of each university will obtain two degrees, one from each university: the "Master en sciences de gestion, à finalité spécialisée" OR the "Master en ingénieur de gestion, à finalité spécialisée" from the Louvain School of Management (legally titled in French, the programme is entirely in English) and "Master of Business Administration in Finance" OR "Master of Business Administration in Marketing" from the Vytautas Magnus University.
Fees: Tuition fees are paid at the "home" university, for the entire duration of the studies. Administrative fees might be required at the "host" university.

Double Degree Structure
If you apply through LSM, your home university will be the LSM, you will therefore spend your first year at LSM and your second year at VMUas your host university.

This programme offers two clear paths, allowing you to choose a focused MBA track in either Finance or Marketing.

The combined specialization offers added value in Marketing or Finance. While we encourage students to follow this proven combination, you may submit a specific project proposal for a different major combination to the Educational Advisor for review.
Integrated Master's Thesis Requirements
The Double Degree requires the completion of one single Master's thesis to satisfy the requirements of both universities.
Supervision: You must secure two professors: one from LSM and one from VMU. One acts as the main supervisor, and the other as the second examiner (reader).
Procedure: The thesis is written in English. Students typically begin preparatory work during the first year.
Defense: A mandatory oral defense is required. This takes place virtually (via videoconference) in the presence of at least the two professors.
