Le Centre de Recherche en Economie (CEREC) regroupe une équipe multidisciplinaire active dans plusieurs domaines appliqués et théoriques de l’économie, dont notamment :
- Économie publique et politique fiscale
- Économie du travail et de l’éducation
- Théorie des jeux et économie expérimentale
- Finance et marchés financiers
- Économie des plateformes
- Économie de l’environnement et des ressources naturelles
Un trait commun aux projets de recherche du CEREC est le souci d’analyser le rôle que peuvent jouer les pouvoirs publics pour promouvoir l’efficacité et/ou le bien-être collectif. En 2019, conscient de l’importance des politiques fiscales, de la régulation et de l’évaluation des impacts économiques de ces dernières, le CEREC a créé le CAPE (Centre d’Analyse des Politiques Économiques). Ce centre est une composante essentielle du CEREC.
