The amount of tuition fees

sic |

Enrolment in a degree programme entails the payment of tuition fees. The amount of fees depends on the chosen programme and/or nationality

These tuition fees are provided for informational purposes only and may vary depending on your situation. Please consult the complete price list for the exact amount of your enrolment fees. The university has put measures in place to reduce the cost of studying in certain circumstances.

The amount of the tuition fees varies depending on your nationality:

These fees apply to students of Belgian nationality, European nationality, and non-European Union nationality who are assimilated to Belgians.

- Standard fees: €835.00

- Reduced fees:

UCLouvain social tariff: maximum €374.00

Low income: €374.00

- No fees (students receiving a grant from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation): €0.00

In addition to these fees, there are additional costs, particularly for sports membership. Please note that students receiving a scholarship are still liable for these costs.

Additional contribution

In accordance with ARES Circular No. 2025-001 of 18 February 2025, all students who are not citizens of the European Union, with the exception for those who meet one of the criteria listed below, are required to pay annual registration fees (€835) and an additional contribution (€4,175), for a total of €5,010

The following students are exempt from paying the additional contribution:

-  Assimilated to a Belgian student (to be proven by the candidate);

- Citizens of a country mentioned in Annexes 1 to 3 of Circular No. 2025-001;
