Apply for financial aid

sic |

Students enrolled at UCLouvain may apply for one or more forms of financial aid.

The Wallonia-Brussels Federation Study Grant Service can provide aid if you meet certain economic and academic conditions.

If you have any questions, please contact our Student Support Service.

At any time, when you register or during the academic year, you can get help from the Student Support Service to find out about the university's internal financial aid possibilities. Your application for financial assistance must be drawn up with the help of the Student Support Service, after an appointment with a social assistant.

Children of UCLouvain staff (whether still working or not) may be entitled to free annual tuition (66€ registration fee to pay)  and summer course fees, subject to certain conditions, which you can find on the specific page (French only).

If you are concerned, please submit the relevant certificate to the Registration Office by following the procedure described on the following page. For those who are no longer active at UCLouvain, please contact arh-attestation-inscription@uclouvain.be.

You can benefit from a reduced tuition fee when you enrol for a PhD or a specialised master's course, if you belong to one of the following categories of UCLouvain staff:

  •      - teaching assistants;
  •      - scholarship students;
  •      - student-researchers;
  •      - member of the administrative and technical staff.

This reduction applies to each re-enrolment.
