2.  I enrol in one of the GROUPS of this course on Moodle UCLouvain (online learning platform)

    

3.  Without further ado, I attend the ILV course in my programme !

ENROLMENT PROCEDURE
(from Bachelior block 2)

As the programmes end on 31 October, 
requests to add an ILV course to your Annual Programme for Q2 must be submitted from the start of Q1!

1) I ask the professor for permission to take an ‘all faculties’ language course as part of my ASP, using the online form'Request to add an ILV course to my Annual Programme'

*Paper form exclusively for sign language courses. This document must be submitted in person to the professor during the first class (starting on week 2).

2) He/she sends me his/her response (positive or negative) by email. 
 

3) If the response is positive, I send it to my Faculty Programme Manager before 10/10/2025.
 

4) The select committee at my faculty approves or rejects my request to add a course to my PAE: the select committee may refuse to add an additional course to my programme even if the professor has given me the green light! 

As a UCLouvain student, I have access to language courses, outside my programme, in Arabic ~ Chinese ~ French as a foreign language ~ German ~ Italian ~ Japanese ~ Korean ~ Portuguese ~ Russian ~ Turkish

However, I do not have access to courses in Dutch   English   Sign Language   Spanish  

I have already been selected and would like to follow a course directly related to the language of instruction or life in the destination country. 

First, I complete the "Certificate for Outgoing Exchange Students" and follow the procedure below, step-by-step :

⇢ Depending on the choice of my Faculty, this course (1 course !) will be added to my programme or taken outside my programme (outside my programme, registration of this course by the ILV under 'ERAS LV', thanks to this certificate).

⇢ ERAS LV = as part of my outgoing exchange programme, but outside my Annual Programme. However, this is not a Free Student enrolment, because under ERAS LV, my enrolment on one / 1 language course is completely free :-)

⇢ Under ERAS LV, I am invited to attend the course regularly and to take the exam when I return from my stay !

IF I have been selected and would like to follow a language course that is not related to the language of life or instruction in the destination country, then I have to follow the procedure mentioned above ⇢ I would like to take a course outside my Annual Programme... 

According to the language,

1. I should enrol TEMPORARILY as a 'Free Student'. See process described above ⇢ I would like to take a language course outside my Annual Programme...

    

2. Once I have been selected for an exchange programme, I should send the ILV Secretariat the 'Certificate for Outgoing Exchange Students', in order to be officially enroled on this course (1 course !) under ERAS LV (i.e. outside the programme, as an outgoing exchange student, free of charge). 

    

3. Once I am registered under ERAS LV, I will go to the UCLouvain Registration Service and ask for reimbursement of the fees from SIC.

    

For English, Spanish, or Dutch,

If I have not yet been selected, I must request to add this course to my programme (in progression or out of progression = my faculty's choice) according to the procedure detailed above ⇢ I would like to add a course to my Programme...

Please note: for Q2 courses, requests must be submitted at the beginning of Q1!

As a UCLouvain student, also enrolled in individual course·s, I have access to language courses in Arabic ~ Chinese ~ French as a foreign language ~ German ~ Italian ~ Japanese ~ Korean ~ Portuguese ~ Russian ~ Turkish

However, I do not have access to courses in Dutch   English   Sign Language   Spanish  

I follow one of the following procedures for UCLouvain Student :

• either in my University Certificate [XXXX 2 or 9 CE] ⇢ I would like to add a language course to my Annual Programme...

• or outside my University Certificate [XXXX 2 or 9 CE] ⇢ I would to follow a language course beside my Annual Programme...
