The ILV - Language Institute of the UCLouvain offers courses in Korean at elementary level, in close collaboration with the non-profit organisation Korean Culture and Education Association in Belgium – King Sejong Institute Brussels.

Location

Courses are held on the Louvain-la-Neuve campus.

Target audience

These courses are open to all :

  UCLouvain students, outside their programme only (as 'Free Students")

  UCLouvain staff members

  Non-UCLouvain people (free student)

Course organisation

Korean language courses are delivered in partnership with the non-profit organisation KOCEABE - KSIB. A cooperation agreement is in place with this organisation until the end of December 2026.

Until this agreement is renewed, enrolment is only possible for the course modules covering Q1 (A).

Enrolment for the Q2 (B) modules will only be possible if the agreement is renewed at the start of the 2027 calendar year.

  • 2026–27 Four-month courses
  • Total hours: 45 hours per term
  • Frequency: 3 hours per week

This is a 45-hour course comprising three hours per week during the first semester. Enrolment is exclusively outside the PAE, as "Free Student"
