The ILV, the Language Institute of the UCLouvain, offers Italian teaching units (UE) at all levels, from beginner to advanced, which are open to all students.
- Faculty courses
These are Italian courses reserved exclusively for students of FIAL, the Faculty of Philosophy, Arts and Letters, who have enrolled in one of these courses in their Annual Programme (GERM, ROM and/or ROGE).
Select your faculty, then your bachelor's cycle (block 2 or 3)
- "All faculty" courses
These courses are intended for UCLouvain students who wish to learn Italian
- as part of their annual programme (subject to approval by the course coordinator first and then by their faculty)*
- outside their programme, as 'Free Students' (extra fees !)
They are also intended
- for students participating in an exchange programme, but outside their PAE* Registration is under 'ERAS LV' using the Certificate for Outgoing Exchange Students ⇢ see 'How to register' > 'as a UCLouvain student' > 'selected for an exchange programme'...
- For exchange students staying at UCLouvain, either in their L.A, their Learning Agreement or as "Free Students" (extra fees !)*
*UCLouvain students and exchange students who can participate in annual courses during the first semester only can take the first part only of one of the 'all faculty' courses : LITAL1100E, LITAL1300E or LITAL1500E.
These courses correspond to 45 hours during the first semester only.

- For people from outside UCLouvain.
