Submitting an application for an exemption due non-fundability
What does an exemption due to non-fundability involve?
A faculty may, in exceptional circumstances, grant an exemption to a student who is non-fundable. This exemption allows the student to enrol for the coming academic year despite their non-fundability.
Notes:
- The exemption is valid for one academic year only. At the end of this period, if the student is still non-fundable, they will need to submit a new application.
- The exemption does not make the student eligible for funding.
Under what conditions can I apply for an exemption?
- You must have submitted an application for enrolment or re-enrolment
- And have received a notification of non-fundability from the Enrolment Office
- And have been explicitly invited by the Enrolment Service to initiate the exemption process
How do I apply for an exemption?
An application for an exemption due to non-fundability must be submitted to the faculty responsible for the programme to which you are applying.
The procedure varies depending on the faculty. You will find a list of them, by campus, below.
